The neighbourhood of Beacon Heights is located in Edmonton. Beacon Heights was originally a part of the Town of Beverly, then in 1961 Beverly joined the city of Edmonton. In 1910, before Beverly was a town, development began in Beacon Heights. One in ten of Beacon Heights residences were built by the end of World War II, and half of the residences were build before Beverly’s amalgamation with Edmonton.
