The neighbourhood of Chambery is a newer neighbourhood found in north west Edmonton. The Château de Chambéry in France is what the neighbourhood is named for. It is a prime location for people who work at CFB Edmonton, which is located just north of Chambery. In 2005, according to the municipal census, there were less than 300 homes in Chambery, and all of them were single-family homes and owner-occupied.
